Job Summary: The
Operations Manager will serve as an ambassador for the brand as the Group
Operations Manager and will provide leadership and strategic planning to all
departments in support of our service culture, maximized operations and guest
satisfaction.
Key Duties and
Responsibilities: 
  • Consistently
    offer professional, friendly and engaging service
  • Support
    the Directors in the overall management and strategic direction of the
    franchise
  • Manages
    the operations functions of the cafes 
  • Lead
    and support all departments in the achievement of their financial and
    operational targets through establishment of a positive culture, clear
    expectations and policy & procedural implementation
  • Support
    the preparation, presentation and subsequent achievement of the company’s
    annual Operating Budget, Marketing & Sales Plan and Capital Budget
  • Ensure
    that monthly financial outlooks for all outlets are on time, on target and
    accurate
  • Ensure
    full compliance to company’s operating controls
  • Participate
    in the recruitment process of leadership positions within the departments
  • Follow
    policies, procedures and service standards
  • Follow
    all health and safety policies
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
  • The
    ideal candidate for the Operations Manager placement should preferably
    hold a University/College degree in a related discipline
  • Previous
    experience in a senior leadership role, within a similar hotel or
    franchise required
  • Extensive
    Hotel/ restaurant food chain operations experience required
  • Demonstrated
    knowledge of budget planning and financial control
  • Computer
    literacy skills i.e. proficient in the use of Microsoft Windows
    applications
  • Leadership,
    management and planning skills
  • Strong
    interpersonal and problem solving abilities
  • Highly
    responsible & reliable
  • Possess
    the ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Ability
    to work cohesively as part of a team
  • Ability
    to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all
    times
