Election Observers Network – Uganda (CEON-Uganda) is a consortium of 15
(fifteen) civil society organizations which have agreed to conduct a unified,
comprehensive, and effective domestic election observation mission for the 2016
general elections. The consortium’s intervention is guided by the overarching
need to promote transparency, integrity, and accountability, as well as
increase citizen participation in Uganda’s electoral process. CEON-Uganda will
conduct a twelve (12) -month election observation mission that will include
observing Pre-election, Election Day (E-day) and Post-election activities.
support in selecting the indicators for the monitoring and evaluation of
implementation progress, outputs and outcomes of the project. The incumbent will
manage the team in developing guidelines, tools and reporting forms for
monitoring of project implementation.
Experience:
The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer should
preferably hold relevant a University degree in Social Sciences or any other
related field. Specialised training in Monitoring and Evaluation is an added
advantage;
Past significant and experience in participatory
assessment and monitoring, data processing or analysis and computer experience
and M&E design experience;
Sensitive to gender considerations into M&E
processes.
