(OAF) is an International NGO that supports smallholder farmers to increase
their harvests and thus increase their incomes with a strong footprint in
Kenya, Rwanda, Burundi, and Tanzania. In these countries our 3,000+ strong
staff serves over 200,000 smallholding farmers and helps them to grow their way
out of hunger and poverty. To do this, One Acre Fund provides farmers with
high-quality inputs like seed and fertilizer, financing, and training.
will support One Acre Fund in managing farmer data and to offer financial support
to our rapidly growing team.
Data Management:
In charge of daily updating of records
Quality check of field data
Managing incoming cash from field team
In charge of reconciling accounts
Finance Support: Providing support to our finance team as they
execute payments and reconcile accounts
Experience:
The ideal candidate must have completed Secondary
school education. Applicants with university level degrees will be preferred
Prior experience in a professional office setting is
required though no prior finance experience is required.
Possess a positive attitude i.e. no task is too large or too
small.
Exceptionally punctual
Multi-tasking skills and ability
High degree of professionalism.
Keen attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent computer skills, proficient in typing, and
familiar with MS Office Suite (e.g. MS Excel, MS Word)
Excellent communication skills, can read/write/speak
English & Luganda fluently, Lusoga an added advantage.
Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work
without supervision
