Job Summary: The Programme Support Officer will be charged with
supporting the project team in the monitoring, implementation and evaluation of
activities through data entry, maintaining databases, translation, and
record-keeping and maintaining proper project documentation
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The ideal candidate for the Programme Support
    Officer job opportunity should hold a University Degree in development
    related disciplines and relevant diplomas and short courses in Monitoring
    and Evaluation.
  • At least three years’ experience in working
    with an International NGO in the position of M+E Officer is mandatory;
  • Prior experience in Nutrition & WASH M+E
    will be an added advantage.
  • Previous experience in using modern data
    analysis; experience in project monitoring and evaluation;
  • Excellent computer skills and fully competent
    with MS Office.
  • Proven experience in developing and
    implementing monitoring and evaluation plans and associated quantitative
    and qualitative tools.
  • Prior experience in integrating gender, HIV.
    environmental protection and other cross cutting issues into public health
    promotion.
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure
    and in response to changing needs.
  • Willing to undertake regular field visits and
    interact with different stakeholders, especially the main stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication
    skills, facilitation and report writing skills required.
  • The candidate must be proficient in both
    spoken and written English.
