• Provides leadership and oversight to the
  assigned dental unit, manages dental staff and volunteers.
• Provides evidence based Clinical care to
  Watoto child care clients, ensure that the ‘family care model’ is
  maintained in all forms of care.
• Actively participates and oversees the
  development and monitoring of clinical standards, practice protocols,
  standard operating procedures, and adherence to compliance at clinic
  level.
• Organises and chairs weekly and monthly
  dental team Meetings.
• Engages in strategic planning for the dental
  Clinic in accordance with the department protocols and policies
• Ensures that education programmes are
  well-planned, coordinated and all staff are up to date with clinical
  knowledge and skills in dental issues
• The incumbent ensures update maintenance of
  all patients’ records, clinic inventory and designs patient follow up
  plans in the clinic for dental.

• The applicant should at least hold a Diploma
  in Dentistry
• At least one year of relevant work experience
• The applicant should be a fully trained
  Dental Officer
• Proven ability to be autonomous in your
  practice
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to
  relate well to children of all ages
• Exhibit a high level of motivation and
  initiative, and strive for a high standard of practice
• Passionate about community health care
