• In charge of ensuring that all project
  objectives are met through effective planning and coordination of
  technical assistance.
• In charge of the planning, contracting and
  ensuring that VMMC work is completed according to pre-established MoH
  guidelines, and standards.
• Communication and coordination with
  stakeholders. Timely and accurate completion and submission of all reports
  and financial accountability.
• Develop work plans, budgets and narratives
  for the purpose of project planning 
  
• Manage the scale up and implementation of
  Safe Male Circumcision (SMC) services across IDI supported districts in
  line with MOH/ CDC guidelines and standards.
• Offer support in the design of Safe Male
  Medical Circumcision capacity building interventions and monitoring of
  results in line with the national policy standard guidelines.
• Build, strengthen and manage relationships
  with other partners working with the project SMC facilities to ensure
  coordination of prevention services.
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned
  by management.

• The applicant for the VMMC Program
  Coordinator career opportunity should preferably hold a Bachelor of
  Medicine and Surgery Degree
• Completion of Internship; with full and
  active registration with the UMDPC
• Additional training in SMC service provision
  in the context of HIV/AIDS care and prevention
• Possession of post graduate training in
  public health or Project planning and management will be an added
  advantage
• A minimum of three years’ experience managing
  VMMC programs in collaboration with DHTs
• Excellent track record in managing
  performance based projects offering prevention interventions.
• Previous experience in managing technical
  teams
• Excellent writing, analytical and oral presentation
  skills
• Excellent computer skills including the use
  of word processing projects, presentation software, email, databases and
  spread sheets
