Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • The applicant will be in charge of ensuring
    that the Financial Advisors meet their set monthly targets;
  • Responsible for appraising performance of
    Financial Advisors and the Units on a weekly basis.
  • Supervising and motivating of the agency
    force and other set up distribution channels.
  • Managing the recruitment and deployment of
    the financial advisors.
  • In charge of setting up and training of new
    distribution networks to meet the minimum Company performance standards.
  • Work closely with the Business Development
    Manager (BOM) ensure that all Financial Advisors and Units are regularly
    and properly trained to achieve Company objectives.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The ideal candidate should preferably hold a Bachelor
    of Commerce degree or equivalent;
  • Good advancement in CII Credits;
  • At least five years’ experience with bias in
    General Insurance Underwriting, two of which should be at Managerial level
    with an element of Business Development as well.
  • Broad working knowledge of insurance concepts
  • Familiarity with general insurance processes
    and procedures
  • Broad working knowledge of insurance
    regulatory requirements
  • Demonstrated proficiency in computer/software
    packages e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint etc.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to
    work in a team-oriented and collaborative environment;
  • A high sales drive and a strong will to
    succeed;
  • Confident, articulate and with strong
    communication skills;
  • Results-oriented with ability to work under
    strict deadlines and meet sales targets;
  • Well groomed and presentable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
    skills
  • Strong team player with excellent leadership
    skills.
