Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- The jobholder will work in liaison with the
Senior Youth Officer in respect to planning and policy implementation for
youth responses. - Responsible for participating in the
implementation of staff training and development programmes. - Offering technical support in the
implementation of programmes for youth development and empowerment. - Work closely with the Senior Youth Officer to
implement capacity building plans for service delivery in youths work
including monitoring. - Coordinating and liaise with local and
international youth agencies/ organizations e.g youth networks, CYP etc. - In charge of participating in the Community
mobilization campaigns for the youth. - Perform any other duties as may be given from
time to time.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The Youth Officer should be a Ugandan who
possesses an Honors Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, Social Work and
Social Administration, Development studies, Humanities or any other
related field from a recognized University or Institution. - Age: Above 21 years

- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Good communication and computer Skills
- Proven ability to adapt to multi-cultural
setting - High degree of innovation concern for
quality, standards technical - Proven ability to coach subordinates and
