Job Summary: The Relationship Supervisor Investment Clubs will
be in charge of developing and maintaining a pro-active customer advisory
relationship management that includes effective consultative selling and
structuring of Investment solutions for potential or existing customers in line
with the set targets, service standards and strategic objectives of the Bank.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
1. Business Development:
  • Work in liaison with clients to assess
    individual and group financial situations and develop strategic financial
    planning solutions.
  • The incumbent will implement effective
    product solutions, and cross sales, maximize product utilization,
    establish, maintain and segment Investment groups based on various
    inclinations, savings patterns, legacy focus and scale of commitment to
    grow in coordination with Branches.
  • Drive and monitor sector growth of the loan
    book and deposits, assess and track portfolio growth and group lifetime
    value through regular performance reports and initiate key strategies of
    driving the business, in line with the set targets.
  • Develop annual work plans for the regions,
    aggressively market and generate leads and pipelines.
  • Quarterly re-stream and update customer
    databases for effective portfolio management.
  • Periodically generate a database of market
    information on all Investment club and market trends to assess
    opportunities for business expansion and revenue generation.
  • The jobholder will also develop end to end
    standard value propositions for the sector and ensure simplified
    registration and account opening in branches.
2. Client Relationship
Management
  • Plan and implement customer relationship
    management and ensure effective follow up any issues affecting the
    relationship, conduct periodic visits or meetings; and recommend,
    procedural, process, and policy changes required to meet customer
    expectations/needs and generate periodic status reports.
  • Build and strengthen strategic partnerships
    with professional bodies and value adding knowledge bases to confer
    information to the investment clubs, and maintain an updated database for
    the potential customers while providing direction to branches on the
    potential pipelines, markets and sectors for formation and training of
    investment clubs.
3. Strategy and Planning:
Actively participate in the strategic planning and budgeting process of
the Unit.
4. Department / Unit
Coordination:
  • Work closely with branch management and staff
    to implement and monitor a system of ensuring KYC compliance and risk
    management policies in line with bank procedures.
  • Develop healthy and productive relationship
    with treasury department to support investment options and primary
    dealership for customers.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • The ideal candidate for the Centenary Bank Relationship
    Supervisor Investment Clubs job opportunity should hold an Honors’ degree
    in Business Administration, Economics, and Commerce, Statistics or any other
    related discipline.
  • Possession of a postgraduate qualification in
    business management, marketing, economics, and any related disciplines is
    an added advantage.
  • Five or more years’ experience in a large
    corporate banking environment working directly with client’s e.g. credit /
    banking / marketing / client relationship management with two years at
    Supervisory / Senior Officer level.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the market,
    industry and global events with good business networks.
  • Demonstrated ability to strategically think
    for the business
  • Ability to develop and manage the Bank’s
    sales schedules and advise on targets of the Sector and pricing of
    services offering
  • Capacity to carry out Loyalty meetings with
    clients and decide on customer rewards.
  • Good report writing and public presentations
    skills.
  • Capacity to undertake Portfolio tracking,
    re-streaming and updates
  • Ability to carry out market research and
    benchmarks and propose product refinements/improvements.
  • High degree of innovativeness in resolving
    customer queries and providing solutions while harnessing opportunities
