Job Summary: The Business Development Manager will play a focal
role in building/managing partnerships and varied sales workforces with a clear
understanding of our brand vision in order to meet sales targets.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- The incumbent will manage, train and motivate
sales teams to ensure they meet the set targets - Carry out market sensitizations/trainings
- Build, maintain and manage key partnerships
to maximize sales - Follow up on and ensure Village Power Centers
are profitable - Carry out research of current and projected
market trends as the basis for identifying, recommending and implementing
improved selling and marketing strategies - Ensure that all the necessary data associated
with all sales is captured and accurate - The incumbent will plan and conduct
appropriate marketing and selling strategies for Village Power Solar Home systems
in coordination with central marketing campaigns - Always maintain a good corporate image of
Village Power and any other relevant duties as assigned by Village Power
management
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant should hold an undergraduate
degree or a skill set and experience to match - At least four years’ work experience in a
targets driven environment - A fun personality
- High degree of integrity and creativity
- The applicant must also be a confident and
authoritative speaker - A high degree of self-motivation
- Passionate for selling
- Resilience and persistence
- Ability to communicate with people at all
levels - Strong negotiation skills
- A team builder
- An entrepreneurial spirit and a
problem-solving attitude - Working knowledge of local languages
- Technical knowledge of solar products is an
advantage - Computer proficiency (MS Excel, MS Word, MS
Outlook, Google applications)
