vehicles and it was founded in 1973 by Prof. Gordon Wavamunno. Spear Motors Ltd
is the Sole official distributor for Daimler AG of Stuttgart, Germany the
manufactures of Mercedes Benz. It is also the official distributor for other
legendary brands like Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Great Wall Motors (Wingle double
cabin and Hover Station wagons), Kinglong Buses and Deutz Fahr Tractors.
Job Summary: The Human Resource Manager will be responsible for
Human Resource Management and for the provision of Administrative support in
the day to day management of the company
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • The incumbent will execute the HR Department
    plan in line with the overall strategic plan
  • Responsible for recruitment of staff for the
    company
  • Circulate, interpret, and implement human
    resource policies and procedures
  • Responsible for staff training
  • Responsible for the performance of all staff
    members.
  • Initiate and ensure implementation of
    systematic staff motivational strategies
  • Responsible for the general staff welfare
  • Ensure timely and cost effective provision of
    administrative services
  • Guide the company on statutory obligations
    and Labour Laws and ensure compliance
  • Keenly review, develop propose and implement
    an optional communication system to ensure smooth flow of information
    within the organization
  • Provide logistical support and ensure
    adherence in co-ordination with the various Heads of Department and staff
  • Supervise guide and evaluate the HR team to
    ensure diligent performance of duty
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor’s
    Degree in Social Sciences, Management, Public Administration or related
    field. Possession of a Post Graduate qualification in Human Resource
    Management
  • A minimum of three years’ experience in a
    similar role in a reputable organization
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Working knowledge of labour laws and employee
    relations
  • Knowledge of the Motor Vehicle sales &
    service industry will be an added advantage
