Job Summary: The Sexual and
Gender Based Violence (SGBV) Manager will be the focal point for the IRC’s SGBV
program in Yumbe in North western Uganda. With technical support from Gender
Specialist, the SGBV Manager will be responsible for all aspects of
implementing and managing the SGBV program in Yumbe in line with IRC’s global
strategy and ensuring that the goals and objectives of the program are met.
Her/his responsibilities include technical oversight to all field-based staff,
management of daily activities and operations including operational planning
and procedures, grant management, monitoring and reporting according to donor
guidelines. The GBV Manager will ensure that the program initiatives are moving
appropriately towards set objectives, operating within budget and logistical
constraints, and implemented in line with IASC and IRC guidelines.
