to contribute to GBV prevention and response, including youth to facilitate a violence free community for women
and girls. With funding from UNFPA, IRC will work to address socio-cultural and
economic barriers that hinder HIV preventive behaviours and constrain timely
access to sexual reproductive health, HIV and GBV prevention, treatment and
care services among adolescents and youth 10-24 years.

Job Summary: The Women’s
Protection and Empowerment (WPE) Officer will work closely with a core group of
Community structures who will engage other members of the community to
facilitate the process of positive behavioral change in the community through
the SASA! process, Peer educators education sessions, Male Action Groups
sessions. The position also requires the
WPE Officer will support community-based teams to plan, implement, and
facilitate participatory activities and monitoring of the activities. The
position will also support in case management and economic empowerment linkages
and mentorships.
