Job Summary: The Project
Officer, Land Rights will provide strategic leadership in terms of planning;
implementation and management of land rights and to ensure overall Right to
Food land component project goals are achieved.

Take lead and support the implementation of
tasked land rights project in order to achieve the intended objectives and
outcomes in a cost effective and sustainable manner as stipulated in the project
designs.

and learning system for the Land Rights project

Work closely with the project partners,
development partner and management team to ensure effective and efficient
implementation of project activities

Ensure that cross cutting themes such as Gender,
HIV&AIDS, Climate Change form part and parcel of the land rights project

Formulate viable linkages for advocacy,
standardization and up scaling of land rights work, with Local governments,
non-governmental institutions and development partners.

Coordinate capacity building for staff and
partners in areas of land rights

Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:

The Project Officer, Land Rights should
preferably hold a Bachelor’s Degree in the humanities. Possession of a
post-graduate qualification in management, monitoring and Evaluation or project
planning and management is an added advantage.
