Job Summary: The Human
Resource & Administration Assistant will facilitate the efficient and
effective HR/administrative operation of DRC operational office. The incumbent will
ensure compliance with all DRC Operations Handbook Manual (OHB) alongside donor
policies, procedures, guidelines and rules. The jobholder will seek and receive
policy guidance/ instructions and support from Project Manager, Finance and
Admin Coordinator on their respective areas of responsibilities.

Admin Coordinator on their respective areas of responsibilities.

- Support in all the administrative and
clerical duties as pertain to the office and respond to inquiries. - Ensures cleanliness and decorum of the
office premises and surrounding. - Regularly monitor and control the
utilization of office consumables and stationery - Render support in maintaining and updating
the Inventory / Asset list of the organization - The HR/Admin Assistant ensures that all
Rhino Camp staff personnel files are updated by sharing relevant documents
with the HR/Admin Assistant in Arua - Responsible for ensuring that all Rhino
camp have medical insurance and DRC IDs in close collaboration with the
Administration and Finance coordinator. - Ensures office equipment and premises are
in a usable condition - Ensures orientation for all new Rhino Camp
staff - Responsible for disseminating Monday
morning meeting minutes to the coordination office in Arua - Assist the Finance and Admin coordinator
in HR aspects including payroll updates, leave tracking, travel and
orientation planning at field level. - Support project manager in ensuring staff
are familiar with DRC complaints mechanism. - Support in the Management, Supervision and
capacity building for staffs - Ensure that staff upholds the DRC’s Code
of Conduct.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: The applicant for the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) Human Resource
& Administration Assistant job opportunity must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in
a relevant field with three years relevant experience with an International NGO.
