affiliated to the Baylor College of Medicine International Paediatric AIDS
Initiative (BIPAI), a Network of paediatric HIV/AIDS care and treatment
Children’s Clinical Centres of Excellence and international program offices in
11 countries across Africa, Eastern Europe and North America.
Job Summary: The Program
Manager, Voucher Plus Activity will be responsible for Coordinating and
overseeing the Development and implementation of strategies and procedures for
facility accreditation, training and quality assurance of RMNCH services in
line with the Uganda Voucher Pius Activity objectives and Baylor-Uganda’s
mission.
Key Duties and
Responsibilities:  
  • The jobholder prepares and monitors the
    implementation of the periodic consolidated Uganda Voucher Plus Activity
    work plans, procurement plan and budget, adopts and monitors the
    implementation of relevant MOH processes, guidelines and SOPs
  • Provides technical oversight and
    leadership to the field teams
  • Regularly monitors the implementation of
    Continuous Quality Improvement plans & data driven capacity programs
    for health workers
  • Prepares and submits accurate and timely
    periodic reports, monitors the project performance.
  • Develops and maintains partnerships and
    networks with the Uganda Voucher plus Activity stakeholders.
  • Directly manage, coach and mentor the
    regional field based staff.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
  • The
    ideal candidate for the Program Manager, Voucher Plus Activity job
    opportunity should preferably
    hold a bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery, and a Master’s
    degree in Public Health, or its equivalent.
  • A
    minimum of three (3) years of experience in managing RMNCH
    programs/projects with a reputable NGO.
  • Previous exposure and experience in
    HIV/AIDS and ART is an added advantage.
  • Prior experience in health worker capacity
    building including managing and coordination of trainings, mentorships and
    support supervision.
  • Additional training and experience in
    quality improvement will be of an added advantage.
  • Proven experience working with private
    sector and districts/local governments
  • Analytical skills

    skills

    high initiative.
