purification systems and related services to households, schools, health
clinics, NGOs, and corporate organizations across East Africa. We are a branch
of the Swedish company SolarWave AB and an authorized reseller for Canadian
Viqua, the world’s largest supplier of residential and light commercial UV
water disinfection systems.
Key Duties and
Responsibilities:  
  • Manage and support the sales and marketing team.
  • Formulate and implement sales and
    marketing strategies.
  • Perform professional presentations and
    demonstrations of company products and services by physical visits to
    customer locations.
  • Represent SolarWave in high-level meetings
    with government ministries, embassies, UN agencies and NGOs.
  • Implement and maintain customer
    relationship management strategies and systems.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and
    reports.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
  • The ideal candidate should preferably hold
    a Master’s degree in marketing or business administration.
  • The ideal candidate should be an
    experienced Sales and Marketing Manager with proven track record.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to
    lead by example.
  • High level of honesty and integrity.
  • Ability to build deep and strong customer
    relationships
  • Previous exposure and experience in
    launching new products and entering new markets.
  • Cross-functional knowledge of issues,
    policies, and programs within the sectors of water , related health and/or
    water availability and treatment.
  • Entrepreneurial/nimble and fast moving
    with a drive to succeed.
  • Hardworking, disciplined, and goal
    oriented.
  • Outgoing, comfortable and confident in
    social settings.
  • Computer literacy i.e. proficiency in the
    Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative suites.
  • Fluent in English and Luganda. Knowledge
    of French and Swahili.
  • Driving license and driving experience.
