Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) is a semi-autonomous agency under the
Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities which was established in
1996 in accordance with the Wildlife Act
Cap 200. The Mission of UWA is:” To conserve, economically develop and
sustainably manage the wildlife and protected areas of Uganda in partnership with
neighboring communities and other stakeholders for the benefit of the people of
Uganda and the global community.”

Job Summary: The
Communications Manager will be responsible with the formulation and
implementation of the communication and public relations policy to enhance the
corporate image of UWA.

In charge of developing and implementing
strategies for managing communication relations in order to facilitate the
effective dissemination of information pertaining to UWA

Coordinating with stakeholders and the media in

career opportunity must hold a Masters Degree In either International
Relations, Journalism, Public Relations, Mass Communication, or related field
from a reputable University or Institution.
