Job Summary: The Marketing
Coordinator will be responsible for merchandising and marketing for physical
distribution and channels for the bank.

- In charge of branch merchandising and
branding in alignment with all products to enhance visibility. - Ensure but not implement signage and branding
management within and without branches. - Support branches in their activations to
ensure marketing collateral is in line with CI. - Strategically support branches and
channels in their events, promotions and campaigns. - Build and maintain a close working
relationship with channel managers, branch managers and regional managers
so that any assistance required can be given quickly and usefully. - Proactively and independently resolve
Marketing routine queries / problems / requests wherever possible from distribution
and channels. - Visit all the branches at least twice a
year to ensure the right and current merchandise in place and marketing
requests are attended to. Report and implement findings from the branch
visit. - Proactively communicate to all branches on
merchandise that should be in branches and any other communication from
Marketing that they need to know about. - Engage and encourage all branches in to
pursue their CSI projects before end of the year. - Keep track of all channels, physical and
distribution marketing spends. - Report monthly on all marketing activities
for all the branches and for channels. - Ensure all the channel products have
marketing collateral in line with budget. - Engage GRES to ensure all Branches and
ATMs are in line with the brand CI. - Make electronic services known to existing
and new to bank customers through various marketing channels. - Interact with premises function to align
merchandising hardware & software

Experience:
Experience:

Coordinator career opportunity should hold a first basic degree - Studying towards marketing or a diploma in
marketing - Certification in any Marketing course
- At least three years’ experience in a
project co-ordination/administrative role - Office administration, preferably in a
marketing environment, essential - Show personal initiative in terms of
increasing own knowledge - Able to work under high pressure with fast
turn-around times - Excellent written/verbal communication
skills - Forward planning and prioritization skills
- Professionalism in all dealings and
interactions - Teamwork: Recognizes that every person’s
contribution is an important as the next and that teamwork is what gets
the job done. - Group – orientation; able to work in a
multi-functional, matrix team structure and is supportive of others in
terms of achieving work deadlines - Strong communication, negotiation and
networking skills are required to drive and keep track of project progress
against agreed deliverables and deadlines. - Keen attention to detail.
- Effective and efficient execution of day
to day responsibility. - Sound and effective relationships with key
cross-functional departments (distribution, channels, administration, HR,
Finance, business units, GEFS) and agencies / suppliers - Sound and effective relationship with rest
of departmental team members
