Western Uganda in the districts of Mbarara, Ibanda, Kiruhura, Bushenyi, Sheema,
Ntungamo, Rubirizi, Isingiro, Mitooma, Ibanda, Kyegegwa, Sembabule and Buhweju.

Key Duties and
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- The Finance Officer will compile and
analyze financial information to prepare financial statements including
monthly and annual accounts - Prepare and submit financial management
reports - Resolve accounting discrepancies and
irregularities - Actively participate in the budgeting process
and forecast activities - Prepare for financial audit and coordinate
the audit process - The incumbent will collect and analyze
financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources
and procedures, provide strategic recommendations and maintain solutions
to business and financial problems
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the Finance
Officer job must hold a Bachelor’s
Degree in Accounting from a recognized institution - Full or part professional qualification
(CPA III, ACCA III). Must have passed Financial Reporting plus Auditing
and Assurance papers - At least five years of professional
experience, three (3) of which must be in an audit firm performing senior
roles. - Working knowledge and experience in
QuickBooks and Tally ERP 9 or any related accounting software - A team leader, goal-driven,
result-oriented individual with ability to work under pressure and meet
targets. - Excellent communication skills
- Computer literacy skills i.e. proficiency
in the use of Microsoft office - Ability to work under minimum supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication
skills. - Excellent planning and organizational
skills. - Have a high degree of integrity.
- Ability to work under pressure
- Age: Above 30 years
