Job Summary: The Learning
and Development Officer will take ensure effective delivery of the overall
Learning and Development strategy through analysis of staff development needs
as well as designing, creating and delivering solutions across the
organisation. S/he will also take charge of implementing and monitoring the
organisation’s Performance Management System.

Experience:

- The ideal candidate for the Mildmay
Learning and Development Officer job opportunity must hold a Bachelor’s
Degree in Human Resource Management or industrial and Organisational
Psychology or Social Sciences with a postgraduate qualification in Human
Resource Management - A minimum of three years’ experience in HR
practice following post graduate qualification with specific experience in
managing staff learning, development and training function. - Excellent communication (oral and written)
skills, - Good teaching/presentation skills;
- Highly analytical and good decision making
skills; - Good problem solving skills;
- Computer literacy skills i.e. proficiency
in various MS office packages. - Show commitment to quality and excellence,
and holding the highest levels of integrity and confidentiality. - Highly flexible and reliable
- Evidence of a non-judgemental approach
regarding race, religion, culture, sexuality and lifestyle is critical. - The ideal applicant should uphold the
Christian ethos of Mildmay Uganda.
