Job Summary: The Supervisor
Corporate Affairs will coordinate, implement, monitor and evaluate the Corporate
Social Responsibility (CSR) and Philanthropy activities of the Bank; and
Support in the communication function of the Bank.

- The jobholder will coordinate and
implement the strategic Corporate Social Responsibility and philanthropy
activities of the Bank in line with approved strategy, laid out objectives
and policies. - Support all branches in planning and
executing their CSR and philanthropy activities. - Work closely with support teams to ensure
that all objectives are met. These include but not limited to branding,
marketing, communication and business growth. - Handle ad-hock requests and activities as
they come from the public and other stakeholders according to policy and
advise management on required action. - Build and manage relationships with key
CSR/Philanthropy partners and stakeholders and ensure growth in partner
activities in line with Bank policy. - Ensure that Memorandum Of Understanding
(MOU’s) for key Bank partners are signed on time and that they get all required
support they need from the Bank. - Coordinate activities with respective
internal and external stakeholders including suppliers and agencies. These
activities include but are not limited to attending meetings, making
physical visits to event venues, seeking approvals, ensuring event
attendance, etc. - Keenly monitor, evaluate, account and
submit reports of all activities that have been implemented. - Ensure monthly budget reconciliation for
all CSR/Philanthropy activities done. - Support the communication function of the
Bank, execute internal communications, public relations, and social media
activities / campaigns as shall be required.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the Centenary Bank
Supervisor Corporate Affairs job placement should hold an Honours’ degree
in Social Sciences, Arts, Marketing, Public Relations, Commerce, Business
Administration, or other relevant field from a recognized University. - Possession of a post graduate
qualification shall be an added advantage. - At least four years’ experience in a
corporate affairs / corporate social responsibility / philanthropic /
sustainability function. - A minimum of three years’ experience in
communication and public relations. - Branding and marketing experience is an
added advantage. - Exposure to stakeholder and issues
management. - Experience in relationship management.
- Experience in events planning &
management. - Outstanding Planning and Implementation
Skills - Excellent interpersonal and communications
skills. - Messaging for internal and external
communication. - Ability to manage multiple projects while
keeping focus on key priorities. - Exceptional Customer service and
leadership skills. - Self – driven.
- Excellent team player.
- Ability to multi task and work towards
deadlines. - Readiness to travel within Uganda.
