Job Summary: The Center
Administrator ensures that the Centre achieves its vision, mission and
strategic objectives. The role is responsible for keeping the daily operations
of the health centre running smoothly and is in charge of supervising the
personnel, budgeting, and clinical processes and procedures of the center. The
role will also ensure adherence to established policies and procedures.

Develops policies and procedures for the effective operation of centers

- In charge of planning, organizing,
directing and controlling all the support functions of the center,
including HR, Financial, Facilities, Procurement and IT. - Acts as chief executive to the Board, the
position holder will report on the overall operations of the center’s
programs in terms of HR, Clinical and financial - Tasked with reporting, monitoring and
continuous quality control and improvement
of the centers services,
programs and resources - Actively promotes and maintains effective
public relations with governmental and all stakeholders including the
community.

Planning and organizing:
- Ensuring that the Centre has an
appropriate system of developing annual work plans that are realistic,
costed, time bound and have performance indicators - Ensuring that the Centre has an
appropriate fund raising strategy for generating resources for the centre - Prepares, manages and reports on the staff
performance - The incumbent also prepares, manages and
reports on the center’s Annual budget performance
Policy development and enforcement:
- Ensure that the Centre formulates
appropriate operation policies and procedures to guide the operations of the centre
and safeguard the Centre’s
resources including Human resource, Financial and administrative policies - Ensuring that the staff comply with the
relevant operational policies and procedures, are supported to set targets
and achieve them
Reporting, Monitoring and Quality Management:
- Ensures that respective department heads (clinic,
lab, pharmacy, finance and Human Resources) produce monthly reports which
he/she uses to compile monthly/periodic reports - Prepares Quarterly progress and finance
reports and submits them to the Board in a timely manner - Ensuring that the Centre has an
appropriate monitoring and evaluation system and that performance against
set targets - Institutes and conducts quality checks in
all the centres operations from time to time
Partnership Building:
- Representing the Centre at meetings,
conferences and seminars with the aim of seeking information and
advantageous collaborations and opportunities - Planning, sourcing and analysing potential
partners and consolidating existing partnerships that enable the Centre
achieve its vision and strategy - Manage special projects, added new
services, contract management - Supporting the Centre to lobby government,
development partners, private sector and other policy makers - Take lead in organising community outreach
programs - Perform other duties as required
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The ideal candidate should preferably hold
a Bachelor’s degree in either management, finance, administration and a
post-graduate preferably in project management with at least five years of
related experience. - Previous exposure and experience in
working within a health center setting. - Skills and experience in planning,
organizing and leading operations of a fast growing client-based medical
organization - Clear, concise and comprehensive report
writing skills - Analytical and problem solving of complex
issues - Good team player having to work with a
diverse team of professionals including physicians, nurses, consultants
and other medical staff - Ability to communicate effectively
