Job Summary: The Manager
Systems and IT Services will primarily implement and maintain a structured
Environment that facilitates the development of IT services to leverage value
from ICT infrastructure services and capabilities across the bank.

Key Duties and
Responsibilities:

- Conduct
training of in- house staff on an ongoing basis by identifying user
requirements; coordinate and conduct the training for staff in relevant
systems software. - Manage
the IT Service Delivery team - Oversee
the implementation and maintenance of IT Library principles within the
department. - Implement
and maintain a Service Level Management process in line with industry best
practice. - The
jobholder will implement and manage a change control procedure for
the IT team at the Change Manager. - Design
and develop users’ manuals and corresponding training programs for new and
existing systems. - Implement
and maintain a Configuration Management process . - The
incumbent will also ensure that all bank business, application and collaboration
systems are well installed, maintained and managed to achieve systems
efficiency. - Implement
and maintain an IT complaint Service Desk - Prepare
and submit IT service reports to the Head of IT periodically. - Carry
out regular internal and external benchmarking of the IT service to
ensure best practice. - Attend
client service review meetings. - Manage
and maintain the bank’s systems architecture through proper installation
of cost effective, operationally supportable solutions that meet complex
user requests and SLA’s. - Tasked
with daily system monitoring, verify the integrity and availability of all
hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system
and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs. - Supervise
and appraise the performance of all the administrators under your
supervision in line with the staff policy - Actively
participate in Management meetings, chair departmental meetings in the
absence of the Head of Department.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The applicant for the Finance Trust Bank Manager
Systems and IT Services job placement should hold a Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related subject
or equivalent. - At
least five years’ experience in a busy computing or Banking environment. - ITIL
Service Management qualification and Certifications from Microsoft, SUN,
HP, e.t.c. - Working
Knowledge of Bank products and their IT products and services - Ability
and willingness to keep up to date with technological advancements. - Good
leadership skills. - Good
analytical, diagnostic and communication skills - Critical
thinking ability. - Good
listening skills - Adaptability
to a rapidly changing, very complex and technical environment. - Willingness
to work outside normal office hours - High
level of integrity and ethical standards. - Positions carry an attractive salary and
