Job Summary: The Confectionery
Production Manager will be tasked with the day-to-day supervision of activities
of the Confectionery Production Unit to ensure that the highest safety and
quality standards are achieved. S/He will be responsible for efficient and
timely production.

- Ensure the implementation of the defined
production standards, ensuring they are carried out in a proper and safe
manner. - The Production Manager will be responsible
for efficient and timely production for this confectionery, Food Science
and marketing needs. - Planning and organizing production
schedules - Assessing project and resource
requirements - Estimating, negotiating and agreeing
budgets and timescales - Ensuring that health and safety
regulations are met - Tasked with determining quality control
standards - Selecting, ordering and purchasing
materials - Organizing the repair and routine
maintenance of production equipment - Supervising the work of junior staff
- Organizing relevant training sessions
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s
Degree in Food Science /Production Engineering/ related studies with five
years’ experience in the industry (baking/ snacks or sweets production) OR
Diploma in Food science with eight years of production management
experience in Confectionery - Previous experience in confectionery i.e. sweets
and snacks craft production facility a MUST - Good team management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
skills - Keen attention to details and extremely
thorough. - Highly flexible and very professional.
- Ability to multitask and meet targets set
