Healthcare Foundation (AHF)
NGO, with its Headquarters based in Los Angeles, California. Aids Health Care
Foundation is registered in Uganda as Aids Health Care Foundation – Uganda
Cares (AHF-UC) which is collaboration between the Uganda Ministry of Health and
AIDS Healthcare Foundation (U.S.A) to provide free HIV/AIDS services; including
anti-retroviral therapy in resource constrained settings.
Responsibilities:
- Mobilizes potential clients for
participation in project activities. - Sensitizes potential clients on the
objectives of the project and its implementation modalities. - Supervises the formation of groups.
- Trains clients on savings and loan
policies and procedures. - Manages the loan processing exercise.
- Disburses loans.
- Supervises the loan collection exercise on
a weekly basis. - Supervises the savings mobilization
exercise. - Keenly monitors clients’ business
enterprises to ensure proper utilization of loan funds. - Builds and nurtures linkages with partner
institutions that can offer training and advisory services to clients. - Prepares periodic management reports for
submission to Head Office.
Experience:
- The ideal candidate should preferable hold
a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Economics, Development Studies, Social
Sciences, or other related field. - At least two years’ experience in the
implementation of Micro-Finance activities at community level
