Job Summary: The Education
Finance Manager will grow the Education finance business through the branches,
guide and support the Branch Managers and Relationship Officers and
supervisors, equipping them with the right skills and monitoring them to grow
quality loan portfolio.

Responsibilities:

- Mobilize new Education Finance business
and initiate strategies aimed at growing the Education Finance portfolio
in line with the banks set targets - Constantly monitor quality of the
Education Finance portfolio bank-wide in line with the banks set product
targets - Provide financial literacy to both
internal and external customers by regularly gathering, preparing and
sharing effective best practices - Prepare and submit education finance
performance reports as may be required. - Keenly monitor productivity/performance of
the product and branches against the set education finance targets. - Implement and coordinate all education
finance related projects and schemes that may arise from time to time - Identify opportunities for business
partnerships to grow and expand Education Finance portfolio within the
vision of the global program, including identification of new sales
channels for current products, development of new products, and the
identification of opportunities to develop sub-products under current
operations. - Act as an ambassador for the global work
of Education Finance by attending to donor visits, preparing special
reports and, where needed, representing the product to internal and
external stakeholders - Render support in the design, development,
staffing and launch of new products, services and initiatives that further
the aim of Education Finance in line with the bank’s strategy

- The applicant for the Opportunity Bank
Uganda Ltd (OBUL) Education Finance Manager job placement should hold a
Bachelor’s degree preferably in Economics and Business Administration - At least four years’ experience in sales
and credit management at a supervisory level. - Excellent oral and written communication
skills - Analytical and presentation skills
- Innovation and entrepreneurial
- Good planning and organizational skills
- Extensive knowledge of the Lending
operations - Be a self-starter and highly motivated
- Results Driven
- Resilient and hard working
