Job Summary: The Manager
Advisory Deals –Transactions will lead and manage PwC’s consulting assignments
in delivery of client strategic projects in Valuations/Pricing, Due Diligence,
Structuring deals and transactions and / or Merger and Acquisitions (M&A).
Key Duties and
Responsibilities:  
Execution of mandates related to mergers and acquisitions, buyouts,
disposals, growth capital and debt financing, project finance and exit planning;
  • The Manager Advisory Deals –Transactions
    will research and development of pitch books and Requests for Proposals
    (RfPs) in response to market opportunities;
  • Tasked with building and reviewing of
    financial models using different methodologies including DCF, LBO and
    market comparable;
  • In charge of preparing and reviewing of
    transaction documentation including business plans, information memoranda
    and financial forecasts.
  • Participate in business development
    efforts including networking, deal origination and presentations at
    seminars and workshops;
  • In charge of managing the delivery and
    budgeting of client assignments based on PwC methodologies including
    billing and collection management; and
  • Training and mentoring of junior staff
    members.
  • The Manager Advisory Deals –Transactions
    will be expected play an important role in the business development and
    delivery of client assignments through active pursuit and conversion of
    leads, preparation of Proposals in response to Requests for proposals
    (RFPs) issued at the bidding phase and leading PwC teams on putting
    together proposals from the network
  • Constantly develop and demonstrate subject
    matter expertise in our service offerings and act as trusted advisor to
    our clients
  • Working with the PCS and Private Sector
    Mergers & Acquisitions deal cycle
  • Understanding of the basics of
    Valuations/Pricing, Due Diligence, Structuring deals and transactions in
    complex Sales & Purchase Agreements
  • Undertaking buy side, sell side and
    contingent fee based lead advisory roles
  • Enhancing good relationship base and
    experience in EMA countries in this and wider corporate finance areas 
  • Manage delivery of client assignments
    based on PwC service offerings and methodologies Manage project economics
    through delivery within budget, timely billing and collection
  • Maintain excellent relationships with our
    clients
  • Lead and coach less experience team
    members



Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
  • The applicant for the PwC’s job placement
    must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics; and CPA
    (u), CFA, MBA or equivalent qualification desirable but not essential
    provided financial experience and acumen can be clearly demonstrated.
  • Possession of a Master’s degree in
    Business Administration, Financial or Economics will be an added advantage
  • Related professional certifications and
    qualifications;
  • At least seven years of experience in a
    similar role preferably within a professional services firm, investment
    bank, and or private equity fund;
  • Excellent team leadership, interpersonal
    and collaboration skills;
  • Ability to build long term relationships,
    with Transactions clients, and work across borders on international and
    regional transactions.
