Job Summary: The Quality
Control Officer will primarily develop a set of activities that ensure quality
medicines and medical supplies within NMS warehouse are maintained.

- Formulate systems to assure quality
according to given set standards. - The jobholder will also develop robust
procedures for ensuring that medicines are test against set standards - The Quality Control Officer will identify
defects of medicines and medical supplies and correct them before they are
delivered to facilities - Ensure that activities and techniques are
developed to maintain quality of medicines and medical supplies - The Quality Control Officer will find and
eliminate sources of quality problems within warehouse - The jobholder will collect and analyse
samples of medicines and medical supplies - Administer analytical testing of samples
against set standards - Inspect and verify medicines and medical
supplies and be able to detect defects and advise whether quality
indicators for medicines are improving. - Identify any risk(s) noted during the
course of execution of your duties and formally report to your immediate
supervisor.

- The applicant for the National Medical
Stores (NMS) Quality Control Officer job opportunity should hold an
Honours Bachelors Degree of Pharmacy. - A minimum of four years of working
experience in laboratory analysis of medicines and Medical supplies - Broad knowledge and understanding of Good
Manufacturing Practices - Good analytical skills
- Computer literacy skills
