About Project:
Justice and Advocacy for Women and Children in Uganda is implementing
the DREAMS Project in the three sub counties of Maddu, Kanoni, Kyegonza in
Gomba district.
Key Duties and
Responsibilities:  
  • The Data Field Officer will be tasked with
    compiling and recording information/data about AGYWs in the DREAMS
    registers.
  • In charge of ensuring all AGYWs have sim
    cards distributed to them as their unique identifier.
  • Tasked with daily updating of the data
    into the UDTS as guided by the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer.
  • Work in liaison with the Peer
    Facilitators, Girl Mentors, sub county coordinators at the safe spaces to
    ensure consistency of the data.
  • Enter the data from the health facilities.
  • Performs any other responsibility as
    guided by the supervisor.



Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
  • The ideal candidate for the DREAMS Project
    Data Field Officer should preferably a Bachelor’s degree in information
    technology, monitoring and evaluation or any related field. Applicants
    with diplomas and relevant experience can also apply.
  • At least two years’ experience in data
    processing and usage of applications in health systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship.
  • Hands-on knowledge and experience in use
    of the UDTs.
  • Capable of working and living in a rural
    setting.
  • Willingness to work as a team.
  • Ability to ride a motorcycle is an added
    advantage.
