International is an organization working with rural health center partners
across Uganda. LifeNet International has improved over 9 million patient visits
to date with a comprehensive, face-to-face (analog) training and support model
which improves health workers’ and managers’ knowledge and implementation of
best practices. As a result, participating Christian health facilities in
sub-Saharan Africa have successfully doubled the quality of care they provide
to patients and improved their financial and administrative management. This
model leverages the investments of the local church and saves lives.
Job Summary: The work will consist of regular visits
throughout Kampala as well as taking LifeNet team members outside of Kampala
for work projects. On a monthly basis, the job will require overnight stays
outside of Kampala. This job requires punctuality, thoughtfulness, and a
safety-first mentality.
In addition to
driving duties, responsibilities will include assisting in collecting data on
the field and working with the LifeNet Uganda Country Director and the team.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
·
The
applicant must be a Driver must have a high level of experience driving around
Kampala and around Uganda.
·
An
excellent knowledge of English.
·
Basic
knowledge in computer use.
·
Willingness
to work within and alongside faith-based organizations .
·
A
perfect driving record and active driver’s permit (minimum class B). A
certificate in Defensive driving is a plus.
