About Us:
The Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Kampala is the
diplomatic mission of the Germany Federal Republic.
Key Duties and
Responsibilities:  
·        
Support of the public relations officer
especially in evaluation of press, broadcast, social media and TV publications
in the host country
·        
Build and maintain relations to press, broadcast
and TV companies
·        
Tasked with the production and publication of
press releases
·        
In charge of the organization of press events
and appointments for interview
·        
Responsible for the production of materials for
public relations
·        
Tasked with processing of the visitors programs
of the federal government     
·        
Editorial supervision and care of the Homepage
of the Embassy           
·        
Responsible for the cooperation with the German
intermediary organizations and      
multipliers
·        
Quickly respond to general press inquiries
·        
Support of the cultural relations officer
especially in cooperation with cultural projects
·        
Tasked with managing inquiries in the field of
culture and education
·        
Responsible for the realization of projects in
the field of “Small Cultural Fund”
·        
In charge of cooperation with German
intermediary organizations
·        
Correspondence with multipliers in the host
country



Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
·        
The ideal candidate must hold a university
education or a comparable tertiary education
·        
The applicant should have completed professional
training
·        
Excellent command of the English language as
well of Luganda language in word and writing
·        
Good team ethic
·        
High degree of flexibility
·        
Stress resistance
·        
IT knowledge, control of the current software
uses
·        
Possess a valid work permit and residence permit
for Uganda
·        
German linguistic proficiency is positively
valued
