Job Title:       Finance Intern

About Us:
HMH-Rainbow Ltd. is the parent company of the Yo Kuku! brand of
chicken. The integrated business consisting of a feed mill, broiler farms and a
processing facility is located in a remote Semuto within Nakaseke District,
about 50kms from Kampala City.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
·        
Analyse and update existing fixed assets
register with information from purchase ledger.
·        
Confirm and correct asset class and
commissioning/purchase date for each asset.
·        
Identify individual standalone items that have
been grouped in the register and create separate register entries for each
separate item where appropriate.
·        
Do physical asset count and tag assets that are
not tagged or incorrectly tagged.
·        
Reconcile count of physical assets with asset
register. Update asset register to reflect actual counts.
·        
Update Fixed Asset Accounts to reflect asset
register.
·        
Develop & recommend monthly process to
update register, calculate fixed asset depreciation and include asset accounting
in monthly management reporting.



Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
·        
The ideal candidate should have studied a
finance-related course
·        
Prior experience in related field is an added
advantage
