Job Summary: The Compensation
and Benefits Officer is a member of the HR team and it is expected that s/he
will participate and take an interest in all HR-related matters. In order to
maximize the professional concentration and maintain an efficient delegation of
duty in the HR Department, the Compensation and Benefits Officer is assigned
all functions related to compensation and benefits management of employees and
trainees.

duty in the HR Department, the Compensation and Benefits Officer is assigned
all functions related to compensation and benefits management of employees and
trainees.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare staff payroll on a monthly basis
and produce payment schedules in line with the
statutory requirements - Tasked with processing of incentive
payments in line with the incentive scheme policy - Processing of annual, semi-annual and
quarterly bonus payments in line with the bonus policy - Processing of staff loans in line with the
staff loan policy - Calculation of terminal benefits
- Conduct regular market intelligence on
compensation and competition - Coordinate the annual salary review
- Tasked with the administration of medical
and other insurance - Payment processing of Long Service Awards,
relocation allowances - Prepare and submit HR reports to the HRM –
Payroll, Turnover, Leave. - Prepare HR analytics reports
- Organise staff events.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor of Commerce – Accounting / Business Administration/Organizational
psychology/Social Sciences - A minimum of two years of related experience
in a human resources-related role, preferably with an organization in the
financial sector. - Previous experience working with planning
and calendaring technology an asset - Familiarity working with organizational
budgets - Outstanding proven time management and
organizational skills - Keen attention to detail with ability to
track and manage multiple projects at one time, - Strong networking skills, excellent
interpersonal and communication skills; - Task orientation with ability to manage
multiple projects with a high level of urgency without losing composure
and compromising productivity; - Ability to build and maintain excellent
working relationships with staff at all organizational levels; - Ability to produce results within a
dynamic environment, demonstrate flexibility, and to respond quickly to
changes; - Understand and accurately apply numeric
skills needed to generate and monitor budgets etc.; - Excellent organizational and analytical
skills; - Excellent writing and document (Word,
PowerPoint) formatting skills; - Ability to travel and work flexible hours
(minimum domestic travel of 40% can be expected).
