Job Summary: The Business Manager-Digital will oversee the
development and monetization of digital content channels through the internet
and other electronic/ digital platforms in order to achieve set targets
profitably while understanding the changing trends in the local and
international digital market.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- The jobholder steer
product development and ensures that our product offerings resonate with
the customer and market needs - Carries out market
intelligence on our products and provides meaningful input into the
go-to-market activities for our customers and partners across the region - Formulates business
plans and sales strategies for the market that ensure attainment of
company sales goals and profitability. - Develops initiatives
and strategies for all digital products and monetization of digital
platforms. - In charge of
monitoring and understanding the global and local digitized content market
on products, trends and opportunities. - Identifies and
develops digital information distribution channels - Identifies,
coordinates and develops action plans to penetrate new markets. - Facilitates the
appropriate content generation process with the Product team. - Conducts one-on-one
review with all digital content stakeholders to build more effective
communications, understanding the training needs, and providing an insight
for the improvement of sales and activity performance. - Prepares and maintains
accurate records of all budgets, pricing, sales and activity reports for
different digital channels. - Works closely with
radio, publications and newspaper editorial teams to ensure constant
availability of up-to-date and relevant information to all channels. - Establishes and builds
relations ships with potential content owners and recommending ways that
improve both users and experience and benefits to the company. - Spearheads strategic
partner relations with service providers, software vendors and all
technical / commercial partners.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate
should preferably hold a bachelor’s degree in IT -related course or
equivalent business degree - Professional
Qualification and or Post Graduate Degree in relevant field e.g. CIM - A minimum of five
years of sales working experience in related business, with two years at
management level - Computer literacy
skills with knowledge and experience in enterprise software solutions
primarily internet and mobile technologies. - Managing technology
sales, marketing and client relationships. - Internet and social
media marketing experience with high understand of new media and web
analytics. - Broad knowledge and
understanding of the product development cycle, evaluation and monitoring. - Previous experience
with content management systems (CMS) for both web and mobile platforms. - Ability to develop and
communicate a clear strategy - Strong proposal
writing skills - Ability to track, review
and manage team performance effectively - Results oriented
attitude - High personal
standards - Strong communication
(oral & written) - Excellent
interpersonal and coaching skills - High drive for results
- Strong customer focus
- Good planning and
organizing skills
