Reports to: Assistant Accountant
About US:
Lutheran World Relief is a US non-profit organization that works with
local partners to provide lasting solutions to poverty, injustice and human
suffering. LWF Uganda works to reduce people’s vulnerability, supporting them
to realize their potential, to build on their assets, and to respond to their
own problems and needs. LWF Uganda currently has five areas of operation in
Pader, Kitgum, Adjumani, Katakwi, Sembabule, Kampala and Kamwenge Districts.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • The ideal candidate for the Lutheran World
    Relief (LWR) Project Manager career opportunity should hold a university
    degree, with a major in Accounting/Finance/Auditing and or a full
    professional qualification in ACCA, CPA, CA, CIA or CM A or equivalent.
  • At least two years of post qualification
    experience;
  • Extensive Computer knowledge in Microsoft
    Excel, Vision Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Sage Accounting and Access is required
  • Proven knowledge of Generally Accepted
    Accounting Principles and Internal Control Procedures;



  • Excellent written and Oral Communication
    skills are essential,
  • The jobholder must be a team builder, who
    is able to work successfully in a multicultural environment;
  • A high level of integrity is required.
