Job Summary: The Principal
Learning and Development Officer will develop, implement and coordinate
Learning and development programs in line with the Learning and development
policy, to achieve the Bank’s corporate objectives.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate
training programmes based on identified corporate, departmental and
individual needs - Implement
and coordinate training development programmes in line with approved
corporate training and development budget and plan - Review
training and development programmes to suit prevailing trends in the
banking industry and the Bank’s corporate objectives - Develop
and prepare instructional materials, visual aids, and reference materials
in line with the specific program objectives - Provide
administrative and technical support to the bank’s training activities in
line with the annual training plan - Evaluate
and communicate the effectiveness of training programs in a timely manner
in line with the training plans and policies - Prepare,
produce and submit periodic reports regarding Training data as and when
required in line with the Bank’s annual training plan - Maintain
accurate, organized and up-to-date training records in line with the
Bank’s policies.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
ideal candidate for the Housing Finance Bank Principal Learning and
Development Officer job opportunity must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Human
Resources Management, Organisational and industrial psychology - Related
post graduate qualification is an added advantage - At
least three years’ experience in an Learning and Development role - Broad
knowledge and understanding of new trends in Learning and development and
general HR best practices. - Excellent
interpersonal skills - Excellent
communication and coordination skills - Excellent
planning and organisation skills - Proactive
and quick response to customers queries - Customer
centric disposition - Energetic
and focused - Analytical
and data Manipulation skills - High
