Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- The
Trade Information Executive (Services) will verify, and
certify exporters documentation - Operate modern trade information management
systems - Operate and maintain databanks on all
registered exporters and
potential exporters - Operate and maintain a statistical information
system capable of regular export data capture, collation analysis, storage and
retrieval - Conduct outreach programmes and services to
associations of producers, manufacturers, exporters and other identifiable groupings
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
ideal candidate for the Uganda Export Promotions Board (UEPB) Trade
Information Executive (Services) job placement must be a Ugandan who holds
an Honors Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following: Marketing,
International Business, International Trade, Economics, Commerce,
Agriculture, Logistics Management or IT related courses from a recognized
degree awarding University or Institution. - Three
years of relevant working experience in a similar position in a reputable organization.
Private sector experience is added advantage. - Data capture, collation analysis, storage and
retrieval skills - Knowledge of trade information management
systems - Knowledge of international trade
- Broad knowledge of intellectual property and
branding.
