Job Summary: The Head of
Infrastructure is mainly responsible and accountable for facilitating the
government and industry to develop infrastructure solutions that meet the
financial needs of low income Ugandans.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Actively
contribute to the development and implementation of FSDU’s strategic and
operational plans; providing expertise and insight in the field of
infrastructure as it relates to financial services and the technology
sector - To
lead the development & implementation of the influencing strategy for
the Market Infrastructure pillar; seeking to encourage expansion of access
to, and uptake of financial services by low income Ugandans and MSMEs due
to improved interoperability - To
work with partners and consultants to deliver successful projects that
have a positive financial impact on MSME’s and poor individuals, within
specified time & cost - To
increase the capacity of partners to ensure that improved financial
infrastructure has positive effects on the number of poor people and SMES
financially inclusion - To
collaborate with other team members to deliver strategic and operation
targets
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
applicant should preferably hold a Degree in Engineering (Software,
Telecommunications, Electrical) - Masters
in Business Administration, Finance or Public Administration is preferred - Certification
in Project Management (PMP/ PRINCE2) or Post Graduate Diploma Project
Management - A
minimum of six years’ experience at senior level in a relevant
organisation - Extensive
knowledge and understanding of infrastructure related to the financial and
telecommunications sector - Previous
experience in government is a plus - International
experience is a plus - Demonstrated
analytical and problem solving skills - Experience
in identifying and managing partnerships
