Job Summary: The Driver will
be responsible for providing secure and timely driving services to support
passengers and/or official goods and any other tasks as required by the field
logistics coordinator. The job holder must have a clean driving record and
drivers licence.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drive project staff and other authorized
persons to and from various points - Observe and adhere to the safety
precautions before and during driving - Maintain proper vehicle mileage and usage
records as per requirements - Conduct daily condition checks to ensure
that the vehicle is in good running order - Keep the vehicle in a clean condition in
order to uphold the image of the organization - The jobholder will deliver and collect
mails and other documents to and from various offices as required - Pick and deliver OXFAM visitors and any
other staff who is authorized to travel in the organization vehicle - Maintain punctuality and courtesy and
adhere to traffic laws and regulations - Maintain confidentially of OXFAM
information at all times while executing duties - Perform any other duties as assigned by
supervisor
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the Oxfam Driver job
must hold a class driving permit - Ability to perform routine checks and
maintenance e of office pool cars - Willingness to be a part of and closely
work with a wider Oxfam team - Prepare regular checks programme
identification implementation monitoring and evaluation - Strategic and people management skills
supporting mentoring the team in their professional and personal growth - Ability to build professional technical
and implementational unison and alliance arrangement around the project
and inspire followership - Comprehensive knowledge and experience in
driving across all terrains - Good knowledge of the country’s
regulations - Strong organisational and personal
management skills, with ability to prioritise work issues to meet
deadlines with minimal supervision and adjust to constantly changing
situations while maintaining focus on delivery and follow through - Excellent personal communication skills,
high level of self-awareness initiative sound judgement personal energy
and flexibility - Excellent inter personal communication
skills, in written and verbal English, with high impact influencing and
persuasive skills
