positive social change in different communities. One of the projects Wizarts
Foundation is implementing is the “Our Parliament” program, a program that
seeks to discuss issues happening in parliament on weekly basis with an
objective of increasing awareness among citizens of Uganda that enables
accountability.
Job Summary:
The Script Writer will create and develop scripts for TV and radio programs for
the “Our Parliament” program.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:  
  • Come up with new ideas for the drama
    segment of the “Our Parliament” program
  • Actively participate in editorial and
    production meetings for the radio and television program
  • Collaborate with producers to generate
    original ideas for radio and television programmes
  • Tasked with writing and developing
    scripts to meet required standards
  • Provide advice on scripts
  • Work with other managers, presenters,
    producers, reporters, photojournalists, and editors to execute content on
    multiple media platforms.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s
    Degree in Mass Communication or its equivalent 
  • Trainings in communication,
    creative writing or theatre studies maybe useful
  • Any Publications or blogs are of added
    advantage
  • Social Media skills and presence
  • Ability to be creative with good
    research skills
  • Excellent writing skills
