Stiftung (HRNS) is a German non-profit foundation engaged in project work
worldwide promoting sustainable agricultural development, in particular in
coffee producing countries. Through the implementation of grass-root projects
with focus on the value chain, the foundation’s objective is to improve the
livelihoods of smallholder coffee farmers and their
communities.  HRNS currently implements 24 projects in 13 coffee
producing countries with interventions in organizational, agricultural, and
economic development. Hanns R. Neumann Stiftung Africa (HRNS AF), the African
subsidiary of HRNS, has a strong presence in East Africa with projects
currently being implemented in a number of countries in the region.
Job Summary: The
Monitoring & Evaluation Coordinator. The purpose of the position is to
provide technical guidance, coordination and management of all M&E
activities in Uganda.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: Reporting to the General Manager the main
responsibilities of the Monitoring & Evaluation Coordinator will be the
following:
·        
Implement
monitoring & evaluation systems to track performance and achievement of
objectives.
·        
Maintain
and update a program database system and ensure data quality.
·        
Work closely
with external organizations providing M&E development support to HRNS.
·        
Manage
field staff involved in M&E activities and assess the need for further
capacity development.
·        
Organize,
coordinate and supervise field assessments and surveys. • Analyze collected
data and write M&E reports.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
·        
The Hanns
R. Neumann Stiftung (HRNS) Monitoring & Evaluation Coordinator must hold a  Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline
·        
At least
seven years of experience in similar positions.
·        
Familiarity
with project work in rural Uganda is of advantage.
·        
Demonstrated
coordination of M&E activities and management skills.
·        
Excellent
skills in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools are essential, skills
in SurveyCTO and Tableau are of advantage
·        
Fluency
in written and spoken English.
