Job Summary: The Field Finance Assistant will render
support to the project in
financial management and funds disbursement as needed and ensures effective
operation of the field office.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Primary point of contact for Field and Satellite office.
- Ensuring the field expense reports are submitted, reviewed by
project staff, and approved. - Ensuring proper record keeping and monthly cash count and
reconciliation submitted to the head office. - Assisting with field budget tracking and realignments as required.
- Management of organizational equipment in the field offices.
- Process payments.
- Maintain field office records of accounts payable and accounts
receivable and generate monthly aging analysis of the advances. - Provide administrative and budget support.
- Participate in preparation of audit.
- Accountable for the smooth operation of all field office work.
- Maintain regularly and update field office asset register including
physical verification. - Organize field travel arrangements and maintain monthly
vehicle/motorcycle usage records. - Ensure field supplies of office consumables are maintained and make
requisitions when needed. - Maintain office petty cash and proper records.
- Manage field office stores and maintain proper records of stock
movements. - Produce regular monthly store reports and distribution of goods.
- Ensure field office meeting proceedings/minutes are taken and filed.
- Handle office correspondence.
- Maintain and monitor the use of office equipment.
- Supervise general cleanliness of offices and office compound.
- Perform any other duty as assigned.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant for the Caritas International Field Finance Assistant
job opportunity must hold a relevant Bachelor’s degree or a diploma in any
Business-related field. - At least three years’ experience with a reputable organization.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated poise, tact and
diplomacy. - Good knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures.
- Adequate MS Excel skills (creating spreadsheets and using financial
functions). - Familiarity with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks).
- Organizational and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail, with ability to spot numerical errors.
- Ability to working independently, under pressure with an eye for
detail and reliably. - Good team player.
- Willingness to work in any Nuyok programme duty stations.
- Proven skills in riding a motorcycle and possession of a valid
riding license or willingness to acquire. - Knowledge of local language (Nga’Karimojong) is an added advantage.
