Key Duties and Responsibilities:  
  • The Chemist will conduct Microbiological
    Analysis
  • Chemical Analysis
  • Physico-Chemical Analysis
  • Environment Analysis
  • Seed Testing
  • External Sampling
  • Superintendence
  • Inspections 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • The Chemist must hold a  diploma in Science and Technology
    (Chemistry, Biochemistry) from Kyambogo University or a BSc in Science and
    Technology (Chemistry) from Makerere University
  • One to two years of experience of
    working in a laboratory as chemistry analyst in the private sector
  • Have some knowledge of ISO 17025, HACCP
    and GLP
  • Good knowledge of chemistry equipment
    (GCMS, HPLC, AAS, etc.)
  • Dynamic and quick to understand
  • Hygiene protocols
  • Age: Below 30 years
