• Develop and execute various strategies,
  ensuring competitive advantage and sustainable year-on-year improvements
  in terms of cost, quality, service and innovation
• Make forecasts for Spare parts demand to
  ensure the sustainability of inventory
• Lead and execute sourcing projects
  including strategy development, supplier negotiation, award recommendations,
  business case presentations, risk management and contract execution
• Perform total cost of ownership
  evaluations and supply-market research, and conduct pricing audits and
  impact analysis in the pursuit of continuous cost improvements
• Identify and resolve strategic supplier
  performance issues to ensure customer satisfaction
• Work closely with Maintenance and
  Transport to establish and influence needs and translate to sourcing
  goals/ tactics, ensuring alignment with and implementation of the category
  strategies and the overall sourcing strategy.
• Ensure a proficient interface between
  Transport and Maintenance departments and the supplier base for all
  service-related needs.
• Definition and execution of procurement
  strategy and ownership of relationships with key suppliers
• Responsibility to execute tenders
• Provide Leadership of a wide network of
  spare part buyers
• Provide Leadership of supplier
  relationships with key suppliers
• Ensure compliance with procurement
  policy and delegations of authority with respect to contract execution
• Ownership of spend data and responsible
  for levels of accuracy
• Presentation of insightful reporting and
  dashboards as per the category requirements
• Generation and presentation of Monthly
  performance reports

• The ideal candidate for the Movit
  Products Limited (MPL) Category Supervisor-Spare Parts & Local CAPEX
  job placement should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Procurement
  & SCM or business discipline
• Manufacturing experience background is
  preferred
• Professionally qualified individual –
  i.e. CIPS – UK
• Knowledge of up-to-date contract
  language and legislative requirements
• Significant experience in sourcing,
  contracting and project management
• Relevant category experience in the
  relevant technical area (machinery, maintenance and engineering)
• Expert negotiator and influencer
• Strategic thinker with the vision to
  plan and drive results
• Strong interpersonal skills for
  communication, networking and influencing.
