• Collect products for microbial testing
• Compute data and generate sample
  analytical test reports
• Ensure records are kept accurately in
  accordance with company guidelines
• Keenly monitor and assess samples during
  and after analysis especially stability samples
• Examine physiological, morphological and
  cultural characteristics using microscope to identify and classify
  microorganisms in samples
• Prepare technical reports and
  recommendations based on findings
• Develop new standard operating
  procedures for the analysis and testing of products
• Wash and sterilize all glassware and
  equipment in the microbial lab
• Operate scientific equipment such as
  autoclave, colony counter and microscope
• Calibrate and maintain performance of
  the equipment
• Maintain pre microbial stock

• The ideal candidate for the Movit
  Products Limited (MPL) Microbiologist job placement should hold a
  Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or related field
• Three or more years’ experience in
  microbiological testing.
• Registration with relevant professional
  bodies
• High integrity and professionalism
• Good report writing skills and Computer
  literacy skills
• Good analytical, reporting and
  communication skills
• Team player, good and mature judgment
• Knowledge of regional and international
  practices of laboratory product quality control and assurance.
