Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Strategic management, business planning
and implementation of departmental objectives by planning activities,
identifying new opportunities, mitigating risks and contribute to the
overall business strategy. - External communication to position EUL
in the public domain and improve its reputation. - Internal communication to enhance the
relationship between management and staff, and to ensure staff is updated
with important business information. - Tasked with stakeholder Management and
public relations by improving existing relationships and develop new
relationships with stakeholders and the public. - Tasked with marketing through Corporate
Social Investment and Public Branding to Support Eskom s Africa Strategy. - Manage Corporate Affairs Department
Resources (Staffing, Finances etc.)
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant for the Eskom Corporate
Affairs Manager job placement should preferably hold a Bachelor’s degree
in Communications or Public Relations or Law or Journalism or Marketing or
International Relations - A Master s degree or MBA will be an
added advantage. - Professional registration with an
accredited and reputable professional body e.g. IPRA, CIPR - Six years of practical and related work
experience in Corporate Affairs, four of which should be in a supervisory
or management role - Integrity and trustworthiness

relations - Understanding of stakeholders in the
energy sector in Uganda - Conducting interviews, events management
