• Coordinate the Design, planning and implementation of WEE in line with
  the developed program approach
• Provide technical assistance to WEE staff and partners to adapt to
  the designed document and develop specific program approaches and actual
  roll out of program strategies.
• Spearhead and ensure women’s economic empowerment initiative (WEEI)
  is implemented in an effective manner and in a way that ensures women’s
  protection from further violence.
• Plan and coordinate reporting, monitoring and evaluation of all
  aspects of
• WEE component efficiently and transparently in line with WEE
  document and project standards and guidelines
• Coordinate and manage capacity building for staff and WEE groups and
  ensure provision of and distribution of financing- including linking to
  external financial institutions and opportunities in line with WEE
  document.
• Establish and maintain working relationships with WEE implementing
  partners, district and national stakeholders to promote AAIU image in line
  with the Organizational mission vision and values.

• The applicant for the ActionAid Technical Officer – Women Economic
  Empowerment (WEE) job placement must hold a Bachelor’s degree in
  economics, business administration, agriculture, business management and
  marketing, agricultural economics, social sciences.
• Postgraduate training in relevant fields will be of added advantage.
• A minimum of two years of experience in similar capacity
• Personal Competencies: Proven experience, skills and knowledge in women’s economic
  empowerment, enterprise development, livelihood or employment creation for
  women, business development and management, agriculture and livestock
  production, management and marketing and small enterprise development.
  Proven ability to think strategically, effectively plan, setting
  priorities and meeting tight deadlines; results-oriented approach to
  delivering work priorities.
