About US:
Q-Sourcing Servtec. is a manpower management solutions firm
operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda
and South Sudan. They are recruiting on behalf of one of our National-based
clients.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
Business profitability by ensuring:
·        
Costs are controlled and accurately analysed,
informing management of significant variations
·        
Site wise cost and revenue analysis is
accurately and timely prepared
Preparation of management and financial accounts by ensuring:
·        
Accounting transactions are accurately processed
with correct entries
·        
All costs are accurately recognised and relevant
provisions made (if applicable)
·        
All the balance sheet accounts are accurately
and regularly reconciled and variances resolved on a timely manner
·        
Accurate management accounts are presented to
the OPco Management and the group finance on time
·        
Year-end financial accounts are prepared and
presented to the Auditors in compliance with IFRS and group accounting policies
Intercompany invoicing and settlement by ensuring:
·        
All intercompany transactions are accurately and
timely recognised
·        
All intercompany transactions are compliant with
the tax laws
·        
Transfer pricing policy is regularly updated and
complied with
ERP control champion who ensures:
·        
The control environment on the ERP is
effectively maintained with appropriate set ups
·        
Appropriate access rights are maintained for all
the users
·        
All ERP users are well trained and developed in
the use of the ERP
Internal control environment by ensuring:
·        
Internal control environment for the Business
unit is maintained and reviewed regularly to ensure compliance with the group
financial policies
·        
External and internal audits are effectively
coordinated and control issues raised are resolved within given timelines
Tax compliance and control by ensuring:
·        
All company transactions are duly compliant with
the relevant tax laws
·        
Tax returns are filed with URA accurately and on
time
Employee management:
·        
Staff directly and indirectly reporting to FA
are well informed with the developments in accounting and tax profession
·        
And On job training for all the finance staff on
the ERP and IFRS
·        
Performance appraisal and recommendation for
development for all the finance staff

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
·        
The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in
Commerce, Business Administration and accounting professional qualification
(ACCA/CPA/CFA).
·        
Five years of experience in financial accounting
with a large private company, financial advisory or audit.
·        
Computer literacy i.e. MS Office, Excel, Word,
Power Point, Computerised ERP accounting systems.
·        
Self-driven
·        
Analytical skills
·        
Deadline oriented
·        
You can explain complicated concepts in simple
ways.
·        
You like to work as part of a team.
·        
You’re driven and will keep looking until you
find the answer.
·        
You’re a natural planner.
·        
You are highly organized.
·        
You like figuring out tough calls
