Job Summary:  The Child Protection Officer will be
responsible for monitoring the welfare of Un Accompanied Minors (UAMs) /
Separated Children (SC) and other children at risk; provide psychosocial
support (Child Friendly information and Counseling) to UAMS/SC and other
children at risk, and monitor community structures on child protection.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The ideal candidate for the American Refugee Committee (ARC)
    International Child Protection Officer job placement should preferably
    hold a Bachelor’s degree in Social work, Social Sciences, Community
    Psychology, Adult and Community Education and Development studies.
  • Three years of experience in working on Child Protection issues with
    an INGO;
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of the local population and language is an added
    advantage
